The wedding will take place on 16th July, 2022 at The Vintage House Hotel, an idyllic and tranquil riverside location at Pinhão in the heart of the Douro Valley. The Douro is one of Europe’s oldest and most beautiful wine regions, a breath-taking World Heritage site that offers one of Europe’s most unforgettable vineyard experiences.

What Will I Wear!?
Wayne says speedos and bikinis, Abbey says formal attire… I think we’ll go with the latter!
The main ceremony will be outside and there are some cobbles and grass in the surrounding areas; heel stoppers/heel protectors could be handy for anyone wearing sky scrapers! :)
Ladies, we kindly ask that you do not wear white/ivory/cream to the ceremony.
The weather in the Douro Valley in July is usually hot, around 28-35ºC with humidity.

Please feel free to take snaps over the weekend but we would like you to keep them under wraps, by not sharing them on social media! Instead we will provide a link for an app where you can upload them. You can then easily share your photos of our special day with us and each other!

Gift Information
Sharing our special day is the only gift we need! We recognise the expense involved in a destination wedding and are very grateful that you are able to celebrate our marriage with us, so we ask for no additional gifts.
If you were planning on sending a gift in lieu of being able to attend the wedding, we would appreciate any contribution to our honeymoon, but please don't feel obliged.
